The Dawn of New Music

The Year 2001

 

DilPan were born from the frustrations of two great musicians to stand against the rising tide of manufactured pop. The very tide that threatened to drown the true spirit of music. Armed with their musical skills and total dedication DilPan have started upon the longest of journeys... world domination by music.With only the occassional rest for sleep and food.

DilPan have the vision to bring together every man, woman and child through music. No musical style will be ignored, and all will be assimilated into the greater good that is DilPan. Influences range from the long forgotten teachings of the Kropan masters to the modern day ethics of Zappa and Simpson. What no man can comprehend let DilPan pull together,

After many years of musical study and self analysis DilPan rose from the summer dawn like two sleepy rabbits intent on creating the musical passion that we all know and love today.

Only time, man and God will let history show the full impact of DilPan on the world, but until we can look back at history we must all hold our breath and rejoice inwardly that DilPan have been born.....

Current Projects

 

The journey starts...

 

DilPan have been actively participating in many events over the last few years. Events that encompass more than pure music. Events that have a social stand point.

July 2001 saw DilPan sponsor the first annual DilPan Curry Festival, a place where people new to curry or even afraid of curry could come and join in the celebration of all things nice'n'spicy.

August 2001 also saw the launch of the DilPan and the Mighty Ice Cream Wars day out. A festival of cold and music .

DilPan world music day say the worlds first live set from the Allworks Inc Morris Brass band playing as support to DilPan in sunny Goa.

The journey continues...

 

Along with the recently completed and critically acclaimed "Breaking Point" - DilPan are now only a few short months from the completion of their first major album .
